Recruitment Overview

ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) invites online applications from meritorious engineering graduates for recruitment to the post of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Group A Gazetted) in various ISRO Centres/Units and Group A (Non-Gazetted) post in the autonomous body PRL. Selected candidates will be placed in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 65% aggregate marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
• Graduation should have been completed within the prescribed duration of the course.
• Architecture candidates must possess a valid Council of Architecture Registration Certificate.

GATE Qualification

Candidates must possess a valid GATE score in the relevant paper:

• Electronics – EC
• Mechanical – ME
• Computer Science – CS
• Civil – CE
• Electrical – EE
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – ME
• Architecture – AR

Valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 scores will be considered for screening.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years as on 17 August 2026
• Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Government employees as per Government of India rules.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the Government of India.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Screening based on valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 Score.
2. Interview.
3. Document Verification.
4. Medical Fitness as applicable.

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their valid GATE score.
