BEML Limited, headquartered in Bangalore, is a leading Schedule 'A' Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The organization specializes in manufacturing heavy equipment for critical sectors, including Defence, Mining, Construction, and Rail systems.

This apprenticeship program provides high-quality, hands-on industrial training to fresh graduates, diploma holders, and ITI certificate holders in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961.

• Position: Apprentice Trainee (1-Year Duration)

• Total Slots: 400+ across all complexes (Category-wise distribution applicable as per Govt. rules)

• Training Complexes:

  • Bangalore Complex

  • Mysore Complex

  • KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) Complex

  • Palakkad Complex

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Full-time regular Degree, Diploma, or ITI qualification from a recognized university or institute. (Part-time, distance, or online courses are not eligible).

• Year of Passing: Candidates must have passed their final exam within three years from the closing date (i.e., passed in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026).

• Minimum Age: 17 Years as on the application closing date.

• Exam Scores: NET/SET or competitive exams are not required. Shortlisting relies purely on marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

• Ineligibility: Candidates awaiting results or those who have already undergone (or are currently undergoing) apprenticeship training anywhere are not eligible.

Salary / Monthly Stipend

Selected candidates receive a monthly stipend during the 1-year training period:

• Graduate Apprentices (Engineering & General): ₹12,300 per month

• Diploma Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month

• ITI Trade Apprentices: ₹9,600 – ₹10,560 per month (varies by trade)

Selection Process

The selection process is merit-based with no written exam or interview required:

1. Online Application Submission: Registration via the BEML portal.

2. Merit Shortlisting: Candidates shortlisted based on qualifying examination percentage.

3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio per slot) called for verification via email.

4. Final Merit List: Prepared trade-wise and category-wise.

5. Contract Engagement: Execution of a tri-partite apprenticeship contract through NATS/NAPS portal.
