Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) – Important Information

1. Exemption in the First Round

The current first round is intended for eligible candidates holding the specified NET/GSET qualifications. Applicants should follow the admission instructions applicable to their qualification category.

2. Subjects Without UGC-NET/SLET

For subjects in which UGC does not conduct NET/SLET, or where seats remain vacant after the first round, the university may conduct a Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), as specified in its admission rules.

3. Subsequent Admission Round

The registration portal is expected to reopen after the first round. The university will announce the schedule and details for PET 2026–2027 through its official website.
