The Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) is a national forum of outstanding young scientists and an initiative of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi. INYAS promotes scientific excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, science outreach, public engagement, leadership, and science policy through a network of early-career researchers across India.

Who Can Apply
Applicants should:
- Hold a PhD in any discipline of Pure and Applied Sciences and Engineering, or an M.S./M.D. in Medical Sciences.
- Be less than 40 years of age as on 31 December 2026.
- Be an Indian citizen currently living and working in India.
- Hold an academic position or work in Industry R&D Units or Science Policy/Communication organizations.
- Submit two letters of support from eligible referees.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- PhD in Science/Engineering or M.S./M.D. in Medical Sciences.
- Age below 40 years as on 31 December 2026 (eligible women applicants and PwD applicants may receive a one-year age relaxation as specified).
- Indian citizen living and working in India.
- Academic position or eligible position in Industry R&D or Science Policy/Communication organizations.
- Two valid recommendation letters from eligible supporters.
