Through this project, IIM Sambalpur aims to support Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) in developing its Strategic Vision 2036 and integrated human resource planning.

Recruitment Overview

IIM Sambalpur is recruiting two Post-Doctoral Research Associates / Post-Doctoral Fellows for the research project titled "Developing Strategic Vision 2036 and Integrated Human Resource Planning for OHPC." The selected candidates will work with the project team on strategic planning, organizational analysis, manpower assessment, policy development, and long-term workforce planning. The engagement is project-based and initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Candidates awaiting the final award of their PhD/FPM after thesis submission may also apply, subject to institute and project rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• PhD/FPM in:
  • Economics
  • Operations Management
  • Management Science
  • Or closely related disciplines
• Degree from IIMs, IITs, NITs, or other reputed institutions.
• Candidates who have submitted their PhD/FPM thesis and are awaiting the final award may also apply.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and research writing skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of quantitative methods, optimization, econometrics, operations research, forecasting, simulation, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, R, Python, SPSS, Stata, Power BI, or similar analytical software.
• Experience in report writing, policy documentation, stakeholder consultation, field data collection, or project management will be an added advantage.

Salary Details

• ₹60,000 per month (Consolidated)
