The Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) is a Deemed-to-be University established by the Reserve Bank of India. Located in Mumbai, IGIDR is internationally recognized for research and teaching in economics, development studies, public policy, energy, environment, and related disciplines. Who Can Apply?

Applicants should:

• Be Indian nationals.
• Be below 40 years of age.
• Hold a Ph.D. in Economics, Public Policy, Energy & Environment, or related disciplines.
• Have completed their Ph.D. within the last two years, or be junior faculty in academic institutions/public policy organizations.
• Candidates who submitted their Ph.D. thesis by 31 July 2026 may also apply.

Eligibility Criteria
