The Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DIBT), Mysuru, a DRDO laboratory under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an official notification for Graduate Apprenticeship Training for the academic/training year 2026–27.

Educational Qualification
For B.Sc. Disciplines
Candidates should have completed a full-time regular B.Sc. degree in First Division from a recognized Indian University/Institute in relevant disciplines such as:

- Life Sciences
For Polymer Science
Candidates should possess a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech. degree in First Division in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
Eligible Passing Years
Only candidates who have passed their qualifying degree during the following years are eligible:
2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026
Candidates who passed their qualifying examination before 2022 are not eligible.
🧑🎓 Course Requirement
Only candidates who have completed their qualifying degree through a regular/full-time course are eligible.
NATS Registration is Mandatory
Candidates must have registered their details on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
NATS Registration: nats.education.gov.in
Candidates who have not completed the required NATS registration may not be considered for apprenticeship engagement.
Monthly Stipend
Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive:
₹12,300 per month
The stipend will be payable according to the applicable apprenticeship rules and terms.
Training Duration
The apprenticeship training will be for:
12 Months (1 Year)
The training period will commence from the date of execution of the Apprenticeship Contract.

Completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment, regular appointment or absorption in DRDO.
